A lot of new customers worry about preparing for their installation. At Quickline we try to make this as easy as possible.
Here’s what you need to know:
Preparing for Your Broadband Installation #
Your Quickline engineer will handle everything during installation, but here are a few things to think about beforehand:
Router Placement Consider where you’ll use your broadband most often. On installation day, your engineer will discuss the best location for your router to ensure strong Wi-Fi coverage throughout your property.
Power Socket Requirements We’ll need:
- Two power sockets for your broadband equipment
- An additional socket if you’ve ordered Quickline Talk+ (phone service)
So we recommend you prepare by making sure these sockets are accessible on installation day.
Keep Your Existing Broadband Active. Don’t cancel your current broadband service until after your installation is complete. Your Quickline engineer will activate your new service and ensure everything’s working perfectly before they leave. This way, you’ll never be without internet.
