Quickline is connecting more people to faster broadband through Project Gigabit

Project Gigabit is the UK government’s rollout of lightning-fast, reliable broadband across the UK. The programme targets homes and businesses that are not included in broadband companies’ commercial plans, reaching parts of the country that would otherwise miss out

Quickline is the UK’s second largest Project Gigabit regional delivery partner and the only provider to be awarded a contract serving England’s largest county, Yorkshire, under the programme.

Project Gigabit is the UK government’s programme helping hard-to-reach communities access lightning-fast, gigabit-capable broadband. You can learn more here.

Quickline is a specialist rural internet provider serving Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. The East Yorkshire based company has been awarded a contract under Project Gigabit to bring gigabit-capable broadband to your community. The government subsidises the build costs incurred by Quickline based on their assessment of homes and businesses that would otherwise get left behind by commercial rollouts.

Thanks to this funding, Quickline can create a world of possibilities for communities that have suffered for too long with poor connectivity.

Having fast, reliable connections delivered by Project Gigabit will benefit mostly rural and remote communities across the UK.

Access to faster broadband means households no longer have to battle over bandwidth, people enjoy the freedom to live and work more flexibly, businesses increase their productivity, and vital public services thrive.
