How did you hear about Quickline?
We’d been Quickline customers at a previous address in East Butterwick a few years ago. We were on the fixed wireless service and it was pretty good back then and gave us everything we needed. So, when we spoke to Quickline before Christmas and found out we could get full fibre here in Keadby we signed up straight away.
What was the process like getting your home connectivity to Quickline?
It was a brilliant experience really. The engineer who came first to sort the cabling outside was good and explained everything. And then the engineer who came to install it in the house was great – really friendly and even though there was an initial problem getting connected, he waited round and made sure we had the support we needed. And the technical support was superb and got us sorted straightaway.
Have you noticed a difference in your day-to-day internet use since switching?
It’s much faster and we haven’t had any dropouts whatsoever since we were connected in December. We do a lot of streaming and watch a lot of series on different channels and it is so fast – there’s no buffering at all and we haven’t had a single issue with the performance.
What difference has Quickline made to your household?
Well, we’re retired and so we don’t use the internet for work anymore however we do have a Mac computer which works much faster now we have Quickline broadband. Broadband is really important to us for all the online services we use and it’s just great to know that it’s there and that it works.
How did you feel when you found out you’d won the £1,000 Amazon voucher in the Black Friday giveaway?
We didn’t believe it initially but then we were just really pleased. It’s a nice amount to spend!
What will you spend your voucher on?
That is a good question and one that is strangely difficult to answer. We have never won a competition like this, and it has come as a shock. An air fryer and coffee machine have a lot of appeal. However, I am sure spending it will be a fun experience.
What would you say to someone considering switching to Quickline?
We’d recommend it every time. Our experience has been great – the people, the support and the service. There’s nothing not to like.
