As they go to great lengths to make it memorable for their whole community as they are lighting up Christmas with full fibre broadband.
But without their broadband connection from Quickline, it would be far trickier affair for them.
We met Jackie and Sean North and their four children to find out more about what good connectivity means to them.
“With four children they are always on the internet. They all like to play on games machines, they all have mobile phones, they watch the telly. My daughter does her spelling homework on it, she has to do her times tables on it, she does her reading on it, so if the internet went down, we would struggle.
“Previously we were with PlusNet. But it used to cut out quite often and it was quite highly priced. And then we found Quickline. It was much cheaper and it is absolutely brilliant. We’ve not had any problems.
“Every year we put a Christmas light show on. It puts such a big smile on peoples’ faces they come and have a look, and they enjoy it. They are dancing on the drive and singing. It’s just absolutely brilliant for everybody. We would not be able to have the lights without the internet.
“They are not your normal static lights; they are computerised lights. You can make each light do exactly what you want so you can every single light a different colour if you wanted to.
“We raise a lot of money for charity – this year it is for Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Ambulance.
“We can do so many things with our broadband that we just would not be able to do without it.”
