Located a couple of miles from Immingham Docks and the M180 motorway, the yard itself is nestled in a deeply rural location surrounded by acres of farmland. The lack of infrastructure in the area proved to be a real challenge, particularly when the business switched from being paper based to cloud based in 2023, now finally have access to life changing business broadband.
Charlotte Carnaby explained: “Historically we had one broadband line into our office, the lines were not good enough. We would have customers ring in and the line would just cut out and we were spending ours on the phone trying to find a resolution and ultimately the situation was incredibly frustrating.

“I got through to the most fantastic person who listened to what I said, he could hear how hopeless the situation felt for us and he couldn’t believe we were running our business on the service we had at the time.
“Now we have fibre here right outside our yard gates. Just knowing that it works, knowing that we can upload, knowing we can download, knowing we can get onto our accounts package and our customers can get hold of us. It’s something else I now don’t need to think about.
“The connection is quite frankly life changing for our business.”
