We Will Remember Them

We’ve marked Remembrance Day this year by decorating one of our broadband street cabinets with red poppies.

The once green cabinet in Carlton, near Selby in North Yorkshire, now showcases an artistic representation of a poppy field beneath a serene blue sky and the poignant words “Lest We Forget” and “We Will Remember Them”.

Unveiled this week ahead of Remembrance Sunday, the Quickline cabinet is the first in a series that are set to be revealed around Yorkshire and Lincolnshire in the communities served by Quickline.
The initiative will see Quickline asking community groups to nominate causes or events relevant to their area that can be used to wrap the cabinets.

Julian Chalk, our Head of Engagement and Enablement, said: “At Quickline we are passionate about working with the communities we serve and giving them more than just fast and reliable broadband.

“We have lots of these street cabinets across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire and we would love to work in collaboration with communities to embellish them and make them relevant to local people.”

If you’ve got a Quickline cabinet in your community and you’d like us to wrap it in honour of a local group, charity or good cause, get in touch and we’ll work with you to bring it to life. Email us at marketing@quickline.co.uk
