The awards recognise sector leaders in a range of technical, business and achievement categories at the heart of the UK’s fibre industry. The shortlists have been announced and Quickline Communications appears in three categories:

• Best Rural Fibre Provider – For the best designed and built, rural full fibre project which has seen us make our full fibre broadband available to more than 16,000 homes and businesses in just over a year.
• Best Community Support Project – For making a positive impact on a local community through supportive actions and initiatives other than delivering superfast connectivity. One of the key events we supported was a Christmas lunch for the people in the village of East Halton in North Lincolnshire. It was enjoyed by dozens of residents who were invited along for food and entertainment. You can watch a video of the event here.
• Best Company to work for – For the organisation providing an industry leading environment for employees which at Quickline has seen the number of staff more than double over the past year with feedback from colleagues about their experience being overwhelmingly positive. Staff sited a variety of initiatives that enhance their working lives by supporting their professional development and wellbeing.

The awards ceremony takes place in June at the London Marriott Grosvenor Hotel when the winners will be revealed. We wish everyone the best of luck.
