We’re very pleased to have been announced as finalists in the prestigious UK Fibre Awards 2024.
The awards recognise sector leaders in a range of technical, business and achievement categories at the heart of the UK’s fibre industry.
The shortlists have been revealed and Quickline Communications appears in four categories:
- Best Rural Fibre Provider -For the best designed and built, rural full fibre project marking Quickline’s biggest year to date, laying more than 2,000km of fibre to grow our full fibre network footprint by more than 300%.
- Best Community Support Project – For making a positive impact on a local community through supportive actions and initiatives other than delivering superfast connectivity. Quickline launched a comprehensive programme to educate people in rural communities across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. By delivering a robust digital skills programme we have made a positive impact on over 2,500 young people’s lives and helped deliver more than £13 million in social value community-based projects, connecting the next generation to a future of limitless possibilities.
- Best Sales/Commercial Team of the Year – For empowering rural areas through purpose-driven sales strategies, bringing boundless opportunities to homes and businesses other broadband providers have left behind.
- Best Marketing Team of the Year – Recognising our partnership with Olympic champions the Brownlee Brothers, which inspired customers to demand better broadband, no longer needing to settle for second best, offering a disruptive proposition ‘free until you’re contract free’, with a playful nod to Jonny Brownlee’s famous finish.
The awards ceremony takes place in June at the London Marriott Grosvenor Hotel when the winners will be announced.
