Quickline proudly supported Cash for Kids East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire with their Mission Christmas 2024 campaign, helping to ensure no child went without a gift over the holiday season.
In total 18 Quickline colleagues volunteered over a number of days in the run-up to Christmas, helping to sort and pack thousands of gifts.
Meanwhile, at Quickline HQ in Willerby, a gift collection took place with colleagues donating toys and books, all of which were delivered to Mission Christmas HQ in North Lincolnshire.
Across five days, our volunteers took on tasks including sorting newly arrived donations, organising 20ft-long rows of gifts, and bagging up presents for distribution. These gifts, carefully selected for children aged 0–18, were distributed via schools, social workers, and community groups to families in need.
Hannah Clark, Charity Manager, said: “Thousands of local children woke up to gifts on Christmas Day, thanks to the support of volunteers for Mission Christmas. Without the generosity of volunteers like those from Quickline, the appeal simply couldn’t happen. Thanks to their support, Mission Christmas helped to put smiles on the faces of children who’ve had a really difficult year. It’s amazing so thank you.”
Rachel Bowerman, Social Value Executive at Quickline, said: “We’re delighted to support Cash for Kids and their incredible Mission Christmas campaign. Seeing our team come together to volunteer their time and generosity to help local children was inspiring.
“At Quickline, we believe in connecting communities not just through broadband, but through meaningful support for causes that matter and it was wonderful to play a small part in helping to make Christmas special for children and young people living across East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.”
