Quickline Communications achieves PTC status with Openreach

Rural broadband provider Quickline Communications has been awarded Path to Collaboration (PTC) status by Openreach.

uk fibre awards

PTC is recognition that Quickline has continuously achieved high standards of work when utilising the Openreach national network of ducts and poles to run our own fibre.

PTC is an important status under Openreach’s Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA) programme that highlights those operators who have consistently high quality build standards.

This will enable Quickline to benefit from a simpler approval process when using Openreach products, helping to accelerate its network build with a more efficient delivery procedure.

Lee Allison, Chief Operating Officer at Quickline, said: “We are delighted and exceptionally proud to have achieved PTC status from Openreach. It is testament to the hard work demonstrated by our teams every day including our own internal build team as well as our build partners PBS Construction, Opals Group and Rapid Response Telecoms.

“Our relationship with Openreach is very important to us and this recognition from them is a major milestone for Quickline, supporting our goal to accelerate our full fibre build plans across rural Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.”
