The winner of Quickline’s Great Rural Giveaway has been revealed, with Barnby Dun resident Carol receiving a bumper prize package showcasing the very best of Yorkshire.
Carol was presented with her prizes this week and said she was “absolutely delighted” with the bundle, which includes days out, dining experiences and luxury treats.
Among the highlights are a £1,000 voucher to spend at the stunning Swinton Estate, two 12-month memberships at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, dining at the Hansom Restaurant in Bedale, premium spirits from Ellers Farm Distillery in Stamford Bridge, afternoon tea at Drewton’s near South Cave, and a hamper from Great Yorkshire Hampers.
Carol has already started making the most of her prizes. “We went to Yorkshire Wildlife Park last Sunday and had a really good time,” she said. She also revealed she will be putting the Swinton Estate voucher to use as part of her golden wedding anniversary celebrations later this year.
The Great Rural Giveaway was launched by Quickline to mark Yorkshire Day and celebrate some of the county’s best-loved attractions, businesses and producers. As a Yorkshire-based company serving communities across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, with colleagues from right across the region, it felt only right to celebrate in true Yorkshire style and ensure the prizes reflected the best the county has to offer.
