Quickline has been named Best Broadband Provider in the North East, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire at the Broadband Genie Regional Awards 2025.
This award recognises providers for the services delivered to their customers, with judging based on actions, performance and reputation in seven key areas:
- Value for money – including monthly costs and special offers or rewards.
- Speeds offered – with a focus on symmetrical upload and download speeds.
- Flexibility of contract terms – giving customers the choice and freedom they need.
- Price rise policy – ensuring fairness and transparency.
- Customer reputation – reflecting the experiences and opinions of real customers.
- Openness with contact information – making it easy for people to get in touch.
- Social tariff availability – supporting those who need affordable connectivity.
Alex Tofts, Strategist at Broadband Genie, said: “Quickline has been serving rural areas incredibly well over the past year. We’ve seen some highly competitive offers, with consistently low monthly costs and generous rewards too. The Quickline Social Tariff is also commendable, offering a fast 100Mbps average download speed. As with many of our regional award winners, it doesn’t subject customers to unfair price rises.”
Kat Jeffery, Head of Marketing at Quickline, said: “This award is a testament to the dedication of our team and our commitment to delivering outstanding value, performance and customer care to our communities.
“We’ve been connecting rural homes and businesses across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire for almost 20 years, ensuring they no longer have to settle for second-best when it comes to the internet. Winning this award recognises what we’ve achieved so far, as well as motivates us to keep driving forward with our mission to bring ultrafast, reliable broadband to more communities.
“Thank you to our customers for trusting us, to our teams for their hard work, and to Broadband Genie for shining a spotlight.”
