Quickline welcomes London family to their new rural life

Quickline welcomes Ayse, a valued customer – who recently moved from London to rural Lincolnshire. Moving house is always a challenge, especially when moving from a bustling city to a rural village.

Ayse did just that with her family, she talked to us about making the switch from 24/7 convenience in London to finding us as Quickline, who provide her with fast reliable broadband at her new home in Ruskington, Lincolnshire.

“I live here with my mum and my 13-year-old son. It’s a very big village; however, we are still very rural. Having come up from London I took a lot for granted, things such as services being open 24/7. Things like the internet were all something that I just assumed was always there.

“The slower pace here has been a lovely excuse to just calm down and appreciate life a little bit more. The decision was made also for my son so he can grow up somewhere with lots of parks and lots of wildlife around.

“We have a huge dependency on the internet in our house for personal and business reasons. We do hybrid and live event streaming for businesses in the local county and surrounding areas. We can do conferences, we’ve done seminars, we’ve done private events, we’ve done gaming events. If it’s an event taking place we can take it live onto the internet. As a gaming family we game most evenings, so we need the Internet there for us all the time when we’re going to jump on and have a few hours of gaming.

“Before moving we were with Virgin so when we moved we found out that Virgin was nowhere to be seen in our area, and one of the only real options available to us was TalkTalk, we only wanted the internet but you had to take out the phoneline, you had to have all these package options even then it was abysmal upload speeds and a real struggle with downloads.

“We found out about Quickline through a leaflet drop. We didn’t want to be the first wave of people that went for it for it to go wrong, we then received a letter to say that they’re actually going to be in our village and at that point we thought okay let’s enquire and see what’s on offer. It was great because they had really clear packages, so we were actually able to choose the speed that suited us as a family. We have not had a single problem; they even spoke to my son to optimise his gaming.

“Not to dramatic it has changed our life because it’s one of the things we’ve stopped complaining about. We love them, they’ve been absolutely great.”

Quickline’s fast and reliable broadband has welcomed Ayse and her family to Lincolnshire, making her move from the capital easier.
