The winning team will receive confirmation before the event. On the day of the event, the team will meet at MKM Stadium where a coach will then transfer the team to Hull City’s training ground at Millhouse Woods Lane. For more details please see the FAQs below.

A day in the life FAQs
The ‘Day in the Life’ event is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for two grassroots football teams to step into the boots of a Hull City pro.
Winners will spend an unforgettable day at the Hull City Football Club Training Ground, where they’ll dive into a full-on footballer’s routine – from training with Hull City coaches and sharpening their media skills, to enjoying a team lunch and soaking up the action as Hull City takes on Portsmouth in the final game of the season, all from the comfort of the training ground.
The event is taking place on Saturday 3rd May.
Winners will be expected to meet at the MKM Stadium by 9.15am. From there they will be taken by coach to the Training Ground. Please note – you must meet at the MKM stadium – there is no parking available at the Training Ground.
Winners will be taken by coach back to the MKM stadium at the end of the event. This exact agenda and exact finish time will be confirmed when the winners are notified.
The competition will end at midnight on Tuesday 22nd April.
Entries must be submitted by a parent, guardian, or a member of the team’s coaching staff.
When completing the form, please enter your own personal details (not your child’s). You’ll also need to provide contact details for the nominated team’s manager or coach, who we’ll liaise with if your team wins.
Yes you can – however we can only accept one entry from one individual so if you would like to enter more than one team please ensure a different person enters them.
We will only accept one entry per team so please don’t apply more than once as additional entries will not be valid.
The winners will be chosen at random and notified on Wednesday 23rd April. The person who has nominated the team will receive an email to announce they have won.
They will also be asked to confirm the individuals who will be attending as part of the team – please also notify us of any members of the team who have dietary requirements.

The winning team will be limited to 14 people.
Yes. Parents and carers can attend t0 support the teams. Due to capacity at the Training Ground – unfortunately we can only allow one person per child to attend.
It is the responsibility of the winning team to ensure that they bring enough responsible adults to supervise the children during the day.
Unfortunately, you will not be able to meet any Hull City footballers as the first team are away at Portsmouth playing the final game of the season.

No – parking will be available free of charge.
Yes there will be food provided at meal times. Please bring any snacks/additional drinks you may need during the day.
We are able to cater for dietary requirements so please ensure that these are sent in the email to confirm who will be attending.

Successful entries are eligible for a chance to win an experience ‘day in the life’ at Hull City Training Grounds. You can only enter for a chance to win if you are a grass roots football team, within Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Entries to the competition must be done so by a person over the age of 18 and have full consent of the team. Only 1 entry per team – multiple entries from the same team will be void. The winning team will be able to redeem their prize at Hull City Training Ground, Millhouse Woods Lane, HU16 4HB. The winning team must be free and available to participate at the event on 3rd May 2025.
