To mark the arrival of Quickline’s full fibre gigabit-capable broadband in Finningley, along with the neighbouring villages of Auckley and Blaxton, our team has been out to spread the news.
We’ve been handing out ice creams and letting people know that fast and reliable broadband has landed.
Quickline is on a mission to provide broadband connectivity to rural communities across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire who have been left behind by other providers.
As well as a treat for the taste buds, the ice creams are a symbol of Quickline’s commitment to improving the quality of life through improved connectivity.
Quickline, leading rural broadband provider in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, is on a mission to bridge the digital divide between urban and rural areas. Building a full fibre network in Finningley means residents and businesses in the area, including the villages of Auckley and Blaxton, can enjoy reliable internet speeds of up to 1gbps.
Julian Chalk, Head of Enablement and Engagement at Quickline said: “We’re excited to bring full fibre to Finningley and the surrounding villages. Our goal is to ensure that rural communities are not left behind in the digital age. Our ice cream event is just a small way of saying thank you to the community for their support and to spread the news about the opportunities that high-speed internet can bring.”
