Quickline’s fast and reliable gigabit-capable broadband is now live and bringing high-speed connectivity to rural South Yorkshire communities.
Almost 1,700 premises can today connect to gigabit-capable broadband with the remaining address located across the two villages set to benefit in the coming weeks as the rollout continues under the UK government’s Project Gigabit.
Project Gigabit is a government-funded programme to enable hard-to-reach communities to access lightning-fast gigabit-capable broadband. It targets homes and businesses that are not included in any commercial plans of broadband suppliers, reaching parts of the UK that might otherwise miss out on upgrades to next-generation speeds.
Julian Chalk, Head of Network Engagement and Enablement at Quickline, said: “We’re proud to be delivering gigabit capable broadband to rural communities across South Yorkshire through Project Gigabit. Our mission is to connect communities like Barnby Dun and Hatfield Woodhouse to a world of possibilities and to do it promptly, making a real difference to the people who live and work here.
“Reliable broadband is essential to carry out everyday tasks in modern life and we’re committed to helping our customers to thrive in the digital age.”
Homes and businesses in Barnby Dun and Hatfield Woodhouse can book their installation now to experience Quickline’s high speed connectivity and start benefiting from lightning-fast broadband.
