Full fibre rolls out to thousands more homes and businesses across East Yorkshire – giving access to fast, reliable full fibre broadband thanks to Quickline.
Communities including Langtoft, Rudston, Kilham, Cherry Burton, Etton, Catwick and Tickton are now benefiting from the rollout, bringing improved connectivity to areas that have historically struggled with poor broadband speeds.
The build forms part of Project Gigabit – the UK government’s programme to enable hard-to-reach communities to access fast, reliable, gigabit-capable broadband – with around 2,000 addresses now able to get connected. Almost two-thirds of the premises reached through this phase of the rollout are funded by the Project Gigabit programme.

Lauren Robson, who is overseeing the Project Gigabit rollout across the East Riding of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, said: “Some of these communities are small, quite isolated and have been waiting a long time for decent connectivity. We’re incredibly proud to be involved in delivering a network that is making a real difference to the lives of people who live and work here.”
