The five students participated in a variety of activities ranging from practical engineering sessions to presenting a summary of their week to our HR director and other Quickline employees for their work experience at Quickline.
The approach
Designing the work experience around some of the different roles we have at Quickline, the students received first-hand experience in: Social Values, Marketing, Engineering and Social Media. Along with various Open University online courses to complete, the students learnt a whole range of transferrable skills.
The Impact
With the aim of broadening their understanding of business, students were assigned various tasks to enhance their knowledge and skills. This experience provided practical insights into different career paths, and we hope to see them back at Quickline in the future as they continue to develop their professional journeys.
Connor Moore, Social Value Executive, said: “We have thoroughly enjoyed having the five students with us this summer. Each of them has posed unique questions, demonstrating their curiosity and potential. We are confident that they will excel in whichever career path they choose”.
