In a special screening of the blockbuster movie Jumanji, members of the local community were invited to attend the outdoor silent cinema event at the well-known and ever popular Yorkshire Wildlife Park, on the outskirts of Doncaster, to celebrate the South Yorkshire connectivity of Quickline’s full fibre broadband.
Local residents received personal invitations to the silent cinema and everyone who attended was handed a goody bag of sweets and treats to help them enjoy the occasion.
Grace Carter, Community Events Executive at Quickline said: “At Quickline we really do care about the community. The silent cinema is a small way of us giving something back to them to show them that we are not just here digging up the roads, we want to support them and do things like this to help bring them together.”
Quickline’s full fibre broadband recently rolled out into the villages of Finningley, Auckley and Blaxton with more rural South Yorkshire communities set to go live over the coming months.
