Developed in collaboration with creative education specialists Engaging Education, the programme launched earlier this year and is now being rolled out into schools, colleges and youth organisations, such as Sheffield Wednesday Youth Hub, across the region.
Most recently, we delivered a session at the Sheffield Wednesday Youth Hub – one of six centres in the city supporting 19 to 24-year-olds into employment, education and training. These hubs play a vital role in guiding and encouraging young people to take their next steps with confidence.
Elisabeth Kamaris, our Social Value Lead in South Yorkshire, ran the session. She said: “It was a pleasure meeting the young people at the Sheffield Wednesday Youth Hub. The programme helps them explore career options and visualise a path forward. It also supports our wider commitment to improving employability and social value across the region.”
Around 20 young people took part, engaging with the interactive content, asking thoughtful questions, and starting to map put their future careers.
Elisabeth added: “The portal is completely free and available to schools, organisations, and job seekers across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Whether you’re in school, out of work, or just exploring your options, it’s a valuable resource that is designed to support.”
We look forward to continuing to inspire and empower young people through more sessions like this in the months ahead.
